Sacred Passing is partnering with the Location in Burien for a deathcare fundraiser - in a real forever kinda love way - TATTOOS!!!!!!!!

There are 3 artists with 30-minute slots for us on Friday August 8th and Saturday August 9th.  Please sign up for a slot, and encourage a friend or two to sign-up- it's ink for such a good cause : )  This is sliding scale fundraiser with each tattoo starting cost of $100 and you can slide up as much as your budget allows you to on this day in this time.  

• The Ghost - in honour of the spirits that stay among us 
• The Crow - in honour of the ancestors working on healing
• The Peanut - in honour of the peace that comes with the abundance of care

A month of bills at Asphodel are roughly $2,220 

A VSED costs about $300 in supplies + 

A cremation costs us $1200 - $1600

Backstory 

Mimi, owner of The Location and Lashanna of A Sacred Passing, met when they became neighbors in 2009 in South Park. Along the way, both have woven new ways of existing in the world and it's really a delight to have them intersect in this way.  There was a whole week Mimi was edging a wall above the fireplace in her house. They were talking through the window as Mimi painted and Lashanna kicked it on her balcony. Mimi painted the straightest line and was given so much shit from her husband and Lashanna - and almost 20 years later, that wall is still painted that same color, and perfectly straight line on a round edge, is still untouched.
